King's Kids Children's Ministry exists to prepare children for a life of spiritual discipleship by teaching them that above all else, God loves them and wants them to live in relationship with Him.
Enrollment for Bible Classes
We are trying something new this year! Every year, I give our Bible class teachers class roles of every child that attends our church. They try to plan their class based on the roles. However, not every child is able to attend all the various meeting times and often they are frustrated in their planning by over purchasing or preparing lessons that do not work with the size of their group.
So, I'd like to ask you, the parents, to help us out a little. Take a few moments to follow this link:Bible Class Enrollment. Just click on the underline words. Just fill out the form! It takes less then five minutes. I will have paper copies available in the classrooms for those that do not enjoy filling out electronic forms.
Before you enroll your children, chat with your spouse and children about which classes they should be involved in each week. Then, make a priority of setting aside the time to have them there. Please use this form to indicate your intent in attending the classes you value as important. If you have children that are promoting up, you may not be familiar with all the classes. I have tried to put basic information on the website:www.kingwoodkids.org. You may also call me and I'll give you additional information.
Please understand that your children are welcome to enroll in a class at any time. However, knowing your intent to involve your children in a class, in advance, will make a world of difference to our teachers as they plan Bible class decorations, order supplies, and choose their classrooms. You will also have the opportunity to let us know of any special needs/concerns you have for your child that we may pass on to our teachers. And, above all else, you will have had the opportunity to examine your schedule in light of what we offer at KWCOC and let us know of your choices ... helping us to better partner with you as you raise your children to "Love God, Love Each Other and Serve the World".
